I think the state of the Maple Leafs has had a great impact on all of Canada, so give the guy some slack.

Most of our population is just a ribbon along the US border.

Something about keeping our friends close and our enemies closer? hm

lol, well, its probably more about, length of growing season, access to water ways, and large market to sell goods into :D

But we did hand them their butts in the only war we ever fought..... hm ... Nah, now we just have a poltical class that makes it cool to bash them, while having no military because they make it so we dont need one....

Good things about Canada:

1. Home of Santa Claus

2. Home of Glaciers

3. More Wasteland per capita than any other country

4. Still one country

5. Half the letters in it are "A" and we say "Eh" a lot

6. Moose hair coats

7. Pam Anderson left before she got old; Byrne and McFarlane did too.

8. We invented the timezone

9. Dairy Queens close in the winter

10. Most homes have central heating

#9 is incorrect. Outdoor pools do :)

Exactly, and this is why I laugh when jerk politicians try to push more corporate-driven immigration policies based on how our country "is so dangerously underpopulated". doh!

Sure, but everyone wants to live in Toronto and Vancouver.

Weird fact outlining this insane trend: There are 1.2 million people in the entire province of Manitoba, yet almost 800,0000 of those live in the city of Winnipeg. Put your mind around that one.
