Don't know how DeCarlo can get lumped in with these chumps. DeCarlo is an artist that has worked (still works) in the comics industry for years.

 

Way off the mark bringing his name into this

I don't know where I got the crazy idea

that Mike Swipe.

 

Its more like an Homage or Recreation right...?[/font]

You will see that his signature says "after" and then another artist's name. This is him giving credit to the original artist and it is understood to be either a re-creation or an homage, etc. This is OK.

Yeah, the "after" is an acknowledgement that the work is based on prior work by someone else.
