Well, here we go again.

 

You GA thread readers know I ran across a nice pile of pre-war pieces and parts a few weeks back, I'm going to sell some of those here. Interspersed with those will be more books from Lunatic Lowgrade Guy, and a nice mixed grill of other goodies. I'll get started tonight, and run a week or ten days.

Who has that nearly complete Zip 1 at home?

 

EDIT I've been informed that this MAY be the CF to Zip 4, not Zip 1

Weird Terror 12, 1954.

 

Tape on spine and inside FC, general mayhem, and I suspect the RH edge of the front cover was trimmed long ago, it's MUCH neater than the rest of the edges. Cover is miswrapped on the rest of the book to boot.

Complete front and back cover ONLY.

 

Splits upper and lower spine, otherwise quite nice. BC is just as nice as the FC, with small tears at the staple holes. Nice clean date stamp to boot.

Bits off lower LH, and the RH has small tears, and the long lower edge is folded over, both pages. Paper is still there, just tucked under. 1" tear lower edge, same length both leaves.

Nice copy....except for That Damned Corner Off The Entire Book. Missing corners barely brush art on some panels, miss it entirely on others.

Small tear upper FC chip out RH edge, otherwise a very flat and clean cover.

 

Back cover just as nice without the tear or chip.

 

Gotta love the classy silver ink, and clean date stamp, JAN 24 FOG

Weird Terror 4, 1953

 

Creepy Don Heck cover on a solid lower grade copy.

 

Plenty of general wear, couple tears RH edge, solid interior, but several tears on inside pages. Nothing that affects any story

 

Dismemberment, whipping, decapitation, all the good stuff Wertham warned us about in this one.
