SURVIVOR SERIES: Weird War Tales- Round 1

Oh yeah, It's a bloodbath at the end of the run

 

There are some stinkers early on but the end of the run suffers terribly.

So far only 7 books have "0" votes. I can't help but wonder what changes in the results would occur by voting for our 34 favorites and so on......it might be interesting to see what would happen if the poll was done BOTH ways for the sake of comparison. GOD BLESS....

I did a washtone/greytone survivor series once. G. I Combat 80 won.

 

I wondered if I did it differently, by voting for your favorite, how it would turn out.

 

When I changed the format and asked voters to vote for their faves, G. I. Combat 80 ended up winning again.

Such a great title. Love it. WW 103 has a letter from a kit named Todd McFarlane, which is neat.

 

Best cover? 9

Worst cover? Anything GI ROBOT or Creature Commandos

I wasn't a very big fan of the Creature Commandos covers.

 

118 is a pretty cool Kane cover but yeah most of the other ones are just ordinary. It always seemed really odd that the Creature Commandos were all dressed in fatigues.

One of my favorite titles as a kid and I am always buying them when I see in nice grade. Agreed the later issues are a bit wacky even for my kooky taste. This is going to be fun.

One of the later ones I do like is 74, mostly for its uniqueness.
