One of my most favorite stories of ALL TIME!

 

 

George Bell is the pen name of George Roussos. It wasn't uncommon for folks back then working for DC to take an assumed name so as not to jeopardize their situation at DC. Gene Colan was Adam Austin, Mike Esposito was Mickey D., Frank Giacoia was Frankie Ray, Werner Roth was Jay Gavin; there were others as well.
