Hulk 449 Big Production Defect

It looks like this book suffered some sort of production defect. I couldnt imagine anything

could cause that type of exact damage front and back. Sadly this book is NM without the damage.

 

So what do I grade this book? I was thinking around Fine 6.0 to VG/F 5.0. I really hate to give it a VG+ grade. Would be funny to see what CGC grades it.

Is it a tear? Some kind of scratch?

Its a straight cut that you can feel with your fingers, but didnt go all the way thur on front and back. Its perfectly straight cut as well except on front cover where I think it got hung in printer then went straight across.

Where would we be if that was a thin, black marker, instead of missing ink, 7.5? That's where I am with this as well.
