Talk about misaligned staples…is this common in this book and does this downgrade the grade by a great deal.

I'm thinking whoever's read this one...read it with great care. You get a couple staples like that it that can only help in excessive creasing when the front cover is folded over while reading. I don't notice any.

 

I'm not sure if they downgrade for mis-aligned staples or not. Maybe just if it was an uber-high grade?

 

It's a tough call but I'll go in at 7.0 on this one. But, lot's to like.

Looks like a 7.0, as is.

 

If dry cleaned and pressed, likely a 9.0.

Looks like a 7.0 to 7.5 IMO
