The bottom right is the obvious trouble, but it's otherwise a really nice book. No tanning around the edges, and great registration.

Definitely one of those books that has many qualities and one obvious big flaw. Looks like a perfect copy for a collector looking to fill the hole with a solid complete copy.

I am curious to learn why this would help prevent crooks from using these pics. It seems like one could easily pass it off as their own even with tape over the cert. number. Seems like it might be nice for an interested buyer to be able to look the book up or buy grader notes which now they can't. If this is best practice for selling high value books I would just like to understand why exactly.

If you're a serious buyer you need but PM seller to have the CGC # and/or scan.

 

A crook on the other hand would not be able to provide one given request.
