I have the Gerber Marvel Comics "Deluxe Limited Edition". Dare I ask why there is no DC version?

 

I believe it had to do with DC printed a number of titles which they currently do not own the rights to. Too much involved in getting the okay from each owner of the rights. Christo_pull_hair.gif

It's a series of books put out by Ernie Gerber. There are two volumes with covers to most of the Golden Age comics (except a few "No-Shows",....no pictures available, hence the stickers in CBM). The second set was Silver Age Marvels. There is no DC Silver Age version. Christo_pull_hair.gif

Set # 1 is in Special Edition # 2 (which you have)

Set # 2 is in CBM 74 Dec. 1999

Set # 3 is in CBM 75 Jan. 2000

Sets # 4 AND 5 are in Special Edition # 3

 

Can you let me know the Set #s that are in Special Edition 4 and 5? and do you know if there had been any more sets after the one in Special Edition 5?

 

sign-rantpost.gif That always pissed me off that they put the Sticker sets in REPRINT Edition. I don't want to have to buy the same articles I already have just for the stickers Christo_pull_hair.gif

I'm still trying to decide what I really want to do with the stickers when I have a complete set. On the one hand I'd really like them in the books but, on the other hand, I'm thinking I'll bag them together and store them in the book. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

There is a Marvel Photo Journal......Deluxe version with added pre-hero covers and two volume regular version
