what's a gerber photo journal?

 

It's a series of books put out by Ernie Gerber. There are two volumes with covers to most of the Golden Age comics (except a few "No-Shows",....no pictures available, hence the stickers in CBM). The second set was Silver Age Marvels. There is no DC Silver Age version. Christo_pull_hair.gif

 

The Golden Age Photo-Journal is a "Must Have" reference book! thumbsup2.gif

 

There is no Silver Age Marvel Set either. 893naughty-thumb.gif

 

There is a Marvel Photo Journal......Deluxe version with added pre-hero covers and two volume regular version

 

correct, but there is no Silver Age Marvel set. The Marvel set includes Bronze and Modern issues as well.
