PGM Star Wars 1 - 1977

3 posts in this topic

The issues I see are:

1) slight banding strap lines across the front causing small waves where they were

2) what I call a bindery issue at the top edge from a bad/dull cutter that left a small 'tick' along the top

3) the back bottom exterior corner has a crease but it possibly could be straightened out.?.

4) over-spray on bottom edge

5) very light soiling on back cover near the spine

6) top spine corner has a small >1/8" piece missing

7) bottom spine corner has a small corner abrasion

Whew! After looking at that list I'm hoping for anything over a 4.0! lol

Your help is appreciated! Most of my question is about the old binding strap indents would effect the grade and how that is registered by CGC...

Thanks again!

I'd go with VF 7.0. It's a really nice copy but your right, there is some discoloration on the back cover and a minor nick in the top left. Still a nice glossy cover. However, any listing or sale would need to disclose the back cover showing some yellowing.
