hi everyone, thanks in advance for your help I really appreciate your knowledge. the book is in great shape but the issue I have is that there are a few line indentations on the cover. I am wondering how much this hurts the grade and if anyone has anyone knowledge as to if these can be pressed out or not. Thanks again!

I can't tell whether the streaks I'm seeing in the third image are scratches or whether they're manufacturing related (or maybe both). If they're scratches, I'd call it a 9.0. If they're a manufacturing defect, it could be anywhere from 9.4 up. It's tough to say without larger scans.

i believe the two horizontal lines that don't break colour are manufacturing

 

the many vertical scratches are cover wear, likely caused from rubbing.

 

I'd go 9.2 on this book

They look like manufacturing defects to me but I feel like its very hard to prove I'd probably say 9.2.

 

I don't have a lot of experience with pressing but usually it doesn't hurt...
