Why did the Fantastic Four new movie bomb,while new Star Wars movie was a hit?

Lots of discussion about the franchises and their history...

 

Did you WATCH the movies? One was very good, FF was among the worst movies I've seen in terms of character and plot development. The 3rd act + epilogue was like 13 minutes long.
