The only real issue is the tape over the staple on the cover that serves no purpose. The staple is firmly attached and there are no hidden defects. I'd really appreciate an opinion on the book.

Tape is what readers did to preserve books back then.Very nice colors on your book I can see a 4.5 /5.0 at the least for that beauty

I'm thinking 5.5 or 6 but that's not taking in consideration the tape. So 5.0 sounds about right to me. I wonder how it would grade if you removed that tape...that is if you could do it with out damaging the book.

If I were keeping the book, I'd figure out how to remove the tape, but it's going up on eBay tomorrow night.
