Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con is coming back June 17-18-19. Over the last 3 years our event has expanded rapidly, and we are moving to the Las Vegas Convention Center as a result. First batch of guests just announced:

 

*Rob Liefeld- Legendary Creator of Deadpool, Cable, X-Force, and Image Comics

*Steve McNiven- Civil War, Old Man Logan, Death of Wolverine

*Chris Claremont- Legendary X-Men Creator

*Kevin Eastman- Creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Hi everyone,

 

I'm planning on going to Vegas in June and I'm debating on whether or not it should be the weekend of the con or the following one. The airliners know this and thus increase the price of the tickets substantially.

 

My two questions are:

 

1) Are there dealers with key Golden or Silver age books to buy and/or trade with (i.e., All Star Comics 8, FF 45, etc...) ?

 

2) Are the prices for comics reasonable/ get a bargain or insanely inflated like in San Diego, New York and Toronto?

I highly doubt airlines would boost flight prices for a comic book convention. maybe if it was SDCC.

Supply ans demand. If thousands of people start booking hotels and airline tickets for the same weekend, demand goes up and supply of seats and rooms go down. Thus creating a spike in prices.

 

Can anyone who attended this Vegas Con in the past please respond to my previous questions I need to book this week and I'm waiting for someone to confirm if there will be Golden and Silver Age key books (i.e., All Star 8, etc...)

there is also the world tea expo that week. 7,500 attendees. tea aficionados + comic book maniacs = wild weekend.

I bought my tickets through Groupon and will be flying in from Montreal for this Con. I will only be attending on Friday. I really hope vendors and visitors bring Major Key books (Golden and Silver Age) to sell or trade that reflect the Market of today and not one a year from now.

 

Anyone coming to this Con with Key books to Sell or Trade kindly Pm me what you're bringing and maybe we could make a deal?
