I would appreciate any help in understanding my CGC grade for a comic that looks really nice. I usually undergrade, but with this comic I am at a loss.

The grading notes are:

small tear with crease bottom of front cover breaks color

small, multiple bend bottom of back cover

small, multiple tear top of front cover

What grade should I have expected. I know this year's Green Eggs has made me question my judgement, but not this much. Any help would be appreciated.

If it was the accumulation of too many tiny tears that reduced the grade, then the press won't fix that. Obvious point, I know. See what others think about nice looking books that present at minimum 7.5 but were marked down repeatedly for the several minor bits of light wear (assuming that's what happened here).
