Attended DragonCon -- here's some highlights:

Cosplay is King.

I didn't take 1000 photos this time because lots of other people do.

They are all over Google + Twitter.

The line to get into the MART (where the dealers & artists are located) on Friday at 1pm wrapped around at least 4 city blocks:

The biggest surprise of the con was seeing Mike Barron (creator of Badger).

I had no idea he did cons.

I wish i had brought stuff to get signed.

I met this guy, who i had previously never heard of.

Great guy & sold me some White Wolf RPG art at a super price:

George Perez was cranking out $40 sketches.

His line was always 10+ people deep:

Scott Blair just Kickstarted his 1st book.

He had a preview copy; not in hands yet.

Picked up the promo postcard. The other big new book being pushed was 'Motor Crush' by Babs Tarr, Cameron Stewart, and Brenden Fletcher ... if you had gone to their panel, you got a preview Ashcan comic.

In the gallery, they had Frank Cho originals:

Met this sketchcard artist.

Great guy. I bought a Walking Dead (comic) AP card.

The Zombie Tramp booth had these for sale (also just Kickstarted).

These were the B&W 'Summit' copies -- but they wanted more than $20 each.

Since there are only 300, i bet it's worth it, but not to me.

I picked up (2) pages from Georges Jeanty.

He is the BEST to his fans. Good guy.

Saw the line to the dealers room..... walked back to the tunnel to the second floor and got in a line that was only 50 people long and got in right at 1. Not many comic vendors.... :( But I tried to buy from everyone there. Mostly from Planet Comics who had a decent selection of $1 books and Crazy Ed's who I truly appreciate for coming out year after year. I miss Dale Roberts being there but I guess there is not a big market for comics at Dragoncon. Moving the vendors completely out of the Marriott made the traffic flow there much better.
