CGC Grade vs PGM?

I see people giving their opinion on grades but I'm not seeing where we see what CGC grades fall vs. opinions given. Am I missing something?

Every once in awhile someone will follow up with the post to show what grade came back but depending on the track they've chosen it could be 2 or 3 months before they get the book back. I had a Sups #9 I put up after the grade came back. I think there were 3 grades given and all three were right. Its also a great place to learn. There are a lot of boardies that have been doing this a long time and will throw out tidbits of info I never even considered. I'm in it more for the free knowledge than getting my books graded.

I agree with the above. it is a great place to pick up grading tips.

I always try and post updates when books come back graded as per PGM Guidelines, Helpful Hints and General Etiquette which states...

9. If you post your book in the PGM forum for grading and eventually send it into CGC for professional grading, be kind and post the CGC results and if possible an image of the slabbed book. Many here would like to see how well their grading skills match up to those at CGC.

 

Always been surprise to me that more boardies who post here don't do this valuable follow-up.

Yeah, if you go back three pages you'll probably just find one or two per page where the last posts show the actual CGC grade it got, and maybe a few comments about final grade.
