The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION Presents VIOLETT BEANE,  Speedster Jesse Quick in THE FLASH TV Series, MARVEL and DC COMICS ARTISTS ARTHUR ADAMS and JOYCE CHIN and many more Guests are featured at the SUNDAY, MARCH 12, 2017 show.

 

VIOLETT BEANE is best known for her role as DC Comics Superhero Jesse Quick, and as Jesse Wells, the daughter of Earth-2 Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) on The CW series THE FLASH. Violett’s credits include starring as recurring character Taylor Truitt in season 2 of the HBO series, The Leftovers, the indie horror film Flay, the indie comedy, Slash, and a film based on a true story, Tower, which focuses on the UT shooting in 1966, America’s first mass school shooting in history with Violett starring as Claire Wilson.  In addition, Violett recently directed, edited, and starred in the music video, Landscape, for the band Eyelid Kid.  Violett Beane signs autographs from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.

 

MEGALYN ECHIKUNWOKE starred as Superhero Mari McCabe/Vixen in the ARROW TV episode titled ’Taken.’ Megalyn was also the Voice of Vixen in the CW Animated Series. Megalyn’s other credits include starring as Simone Baptiste in Damien, as Penny in The Following, Megan in Mind Games, Riley Parker in Made in Jersey, April in House of Lies, Holly Strickler in 90210, Tara Price in CSI: Miami, and Isabelle Tyler in 25 episodes of The 4400.  Megalyn also guest starred as Vaughne in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Cassie Robinson in Supernatural. Megalyn Echikunwoke signs autographs from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.

 

MARVEL and DC COMICS SUPERSTAR ARTIST ARTHUR ADAMS began his career drawing the critically-acclaimed Longshot Mini-Series for Marvel Comics and he has been in high demand as an artist since then.  Arthur has worked on such titles as Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, X-Men, Godzilla, Vampirella, Rocketeer, The Authority, Danger Girl, Excalibur and The Hulk.  He also launched his creator owned, written and drawn series Monkeyman and O’Brien under the Dark Horse Comics “Legend” imprint.  Arthur also did a ten-issue run featuring the character Jonnie Future in Tom Strong’s Terrific Tales.  Arthur’s many cover art images include Justice League of America, Appleseed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Green Lantern, Hulk, Avengers, X-Men, Red Sonja, Superman, Batman and Vampirella.  His art is also featured in trading cards, posters, shirts, magazines, movies and much more.  Arthur Adams will be appearing 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.

 

MARVEL and DC COMICS ARTIST JOYCE CHIN has artwork recently featured on variant covers of Doctor Strange#12, All-New Wolverine#9 and #14, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur#13, Ms. Marvel#13, Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat!#10, Mosaic#3 XCI,  Spider-Man#3, The Mighty Thor#6 and regular cover for Heroes of Power: The Women of Marvel-All New Marvel Treasury Edition#1.  Joyce’s work at DC Comics include Superman: Silver Banshee and Guy Gardner Warrior. Joyce has done art for Dynamite Comics on Red Sonja and Vampirella, and for Top Cow Comics, Tomb Raider.  Joyce Chin signs autographs and takes art commissions 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.

 

SCOTT KOBLISH is the artist for select issues of Marvel Comics DEADPOOL (current series).  Recent Deadpool spin-off issues featuring Scott’s artwork include Deadpool: Last Days of Magic#1, Deadpool: Massacre#1, Spider-Man/Deadpool#11, Deadpool’s Art of War and Deadpool Annual#1.  Scott's art has also been featured in such Marvel Comics titles as Uncanny X-Men: First Class, Wolverine: First Class, Cable, Hulk and Marvel Adventures Super-Heroes. Scott Koblish signs autographs and takes art commissions 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.

 

MARVEL and DC Comics Artist MATT HALEY has illustrated such titles as Wonder Woman ’77, Elseworld’s Finest: Supergirl and Batgirl, Batman: Batgirl,  Superman Returns Movie Adaptation, Ghost and The Order. Matt has also done art for Dark Horse, Image and Valiant Comic Books.  Matt recently created the art for the serialized motion comic  “Gotham Stories” promoting the Fox TV series Gotham.  Matt Haley signs autographs and takes art commissions 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. 

 

RONNIE SCHELL was the Voice of Jason in 85 episodes of the Classic 1978 BATTLE OF THE PLANETS animated series.  Ronnie also did voice work for Goober and the Ghost Chasers, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, Fred Flintstone and Friends, Yogi’s Space Race, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, Shirt Tales, Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers, Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School, Ultraman: The Adventure Begins, The Flintstone Kids, The Smurfs, outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed Dangerfield, Yo Yogi!, Rugrats, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and many others. Ronnie is known for starring as Duke Slater in the CBS-TV comedy series Gomer Pyle: USMC and he had his own TV series, Good Morning, World.  Ronnie guest starred in such TV series as the Andy Griffith Show, That Girl, Happy Days, Emergency!, Charlie’s Angels, The Dukes of Hazard, Mork and Mindy and many others. Ronnie Schell signs autographs from 10:30 A.M.-4:30 P.M.

 

RALPH LISTER is the voice of Walter “Angel of Death" Dornez in the anime TV series HELLSING and HELLSING ULTIMATE.  Ralph recently starred as Emmett Vale in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.  Ralph Lister signs autographs 11:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.

 

BRENNAN MEJIA stars as the RED POWER RANGER on POWER RANGERS DINO CHARGE and POWER RANGERS DINO SUPER CHARGE.  Brennan plays the adventurous and charismatic leader, Tyler Navarro, through 40 action-packed episodes. Other roles include American Horror Story, CSI Miami, 90210, Metro, Kickin’ It, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.  Brennan Mejia signs autographs 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
