How long does a person have to open a case on Ebay?

Is it 30 days?

I just bought a comic collection on ebay with a "local pick up only".  Trouble is I won't be able to pick it up until June 18.  The seller is fine with that, but I am a little worried that my right to file a claim might have expired if something doesn't work out.

I seem to remember 30 days is the rule but thought I'd ask here (I did a quick search on ebay abd didn't find the answer there)
