Spirit 21 - paint?

Hi all - any input is appreciated.  You can see the 2 streaks of paint/whiteout/I don't know what on the front cover.  Would that be considered restoration?  How would it affect grade?  Thanks.

Not restoration as it does nothing to attempt to improve the perceived grade of the book. Just a couple of stains and it is to bad as otherwise this is a pretty copy.

So grade goes from what to what?  Basically, how much of a downgrade for the staining.

Grade the book without considering the stains. What do you get? Then deduct another 1.0 for the stains.

You could post the book in the "Please Grade My" section to see what others think. Hard for me to give a grade without seeing the back cover.
