Super new to the grading scene, this was going to be one of the 5 books I submitted but after removing it from the bag I noticed a weird smudge on the back cover.  This pretty much kills the value correct?  Any way to fix? Looks to be a printing error but I'm not a 100%.  Any info would be appreciated.

Yeah, a smudge would wreck the grade. Thumb prints can do the same. I wouldn't slab it myself. I'd enjoy it in mylar and keep hunting if you want a super high grade copy.

I have graded 2 1997 Deadpools.  One SS 9.6 and the other 9.8.  There are a lot out there.  These books seems to grade high, when you find the right one.  If you are patient -- I would be on the look out for another candidate.
