This seems to be pleasing the critics, though only 20 posted to RT so far.

And it looks like the director held off retiring just to do this film.

Initially the --script was given to Soderbergh in hopes that he could recommend a suitable director for the project. Soderbergh enjoyed reading the --script, specifically noting that it was an "anti-glam version of an Ocean's movie", telling Entertainment Weekly, "Nobody dresses nice. Nobody has nice stuff. They have no money. They have no technology. It's all rubber band technology", at the time Soderbergh was also theorizing a new distribution model and felt that the --script gave him the perfect opportunity to do so.

Wow really different part for Craig i like it

Saw this last night. A fun, entertaining movie. And with Channing Tatum, like I was surprised with his depth in 'Foxcatcher' in this movie he plays a different kind of character. Some have called it a 'Redneck Ocean's 11'.

Daniel Craig also delivers in his role, making it worth the watch.
