Value Restored compared to Unrestored

Technically With rice paper being archival material If you use the right glue wheat paste and do it nice and use the original staples which is pretty easy to do I will probably be considered professional

 

Anyone who thinks that repairs like that are easy to do has never tried to do it. foreheadslap.gif

In my opinion this type of "restoration" should not significantly impact a GA book's value. However, until we convince the community otherwise, you are probably talking about a value (at least for re-sale purposes) of between 25% - 45% of OS.

 

Who was the seller that sold you a restored "unrestored" book?

 

I have a bit of problem using OS (when I'm selling) because nothing that is a key or in high demand sells at just OS these days.
