Jaymassena
I apologize if this is weirdly off topic but I'm interested in whether getting this book regraded would make any sense. This was graded way back and in original shell. Also, apologies for not having more and better scans. Best, Jay
Terrapin
I don't think so. It looks closer to 7.5 to me. The bc top edge seals it.
1950's war comics
Agree with above, even though it is in a old style slab it could just as easily come back lower rather than higher....... FoggyNelson

I think the top edge may be a victim of the dreaded SCS(Shaken Comic Syndrome). I love the old labels but many times the books would be really loose inside. After a rough shipment, a slight bend will turn into a big bend, sometimes even tears. As it stands, this book would have to be pressed back to an 8.0 . If the work is good, there's an outside chance of an 8.5 here. Love this book though and it is a 'key'. If you would be content to have it stay an 8.0 in a new label, get it pressed and resubmitted. If you are looking for a flip and grade bump, don't bother.
Jaymassena
Great feedback and thanks very much. I think I'll leave as-is. The upside of a possible 8.5 isn't worth the extra cost and risk.
