TOS at $400 0

  I'm not much into silver age, but my brother has been a long time Iron Man fan.  Best suggestion for $400 birthday present from TOS?

TOS 39 is is 1st appearance. TOS 49 is his 2nd appearance witch is very cool!! This is the book I would chose for a Iron Man collector.

These 3 have cool covers but out of your price in this grade. You probably can find one  of each on Ebay in your price range.

To me these are all the coolest cover but some of them don't have Iron Man on them. There cool anyways!!

I would go with TOS 40 but if not a cool cover is always best.

58 is a classic cover and reasonable $$$ in VF range.  59 is another.  

71 has a cool battle cover and is very affordable (well under your budget) in higher grades.  Bob Storms has this one listed at $125:

There's also #48, first red and gold armor, so it's the beginning of the classic Iron Man look.

TOS 52 is first Black Widow and TOS 57 is first Hawkeye, both are desirable 'keys.'
