Hey I'm new to collecting I just bought this 1st series flash 132 from a comic shop he said it would grade around 6.5/7 should I get this comic pressed and cleaned, would it increase the grade?

First off, you would have to show us some pics. Only certain flaws are improvable with a press. Even then, the book must be absent of other serious flaws. Example, say you have a book with a piece missing and a crease. Maybe a press will remove the crease but it won't matter because the piece is still missing and the grade will not improve. Pressing isn't magic.

It might - however you need to ask why do you want to get it cleaned and pressed?

1.  simply to make it look a little better to you personally - go ahead

2. a higher grade makes it more valuable - add in the cost of cleaning/pressing shipping.  Does the book go up in value enough to compensate for higher costs to you.  There is not much difference value wise between 6.5 and 7.5 for that book.  Maybe go up $50 more for an 8.0.

3. There are a couple of very reputable pressers on the boards, PM them about costs (or go to their websites) and send them high res pics, describe the defects and they will be able to  advise you.  It's what they do to, the rest of us are just amateurs making guesses.
