Guess the Grade: Captain America #57 1 1

Just an exercise to nod your head in agreement or throw up your hands in disgust.  Additional Information:  No restoration, staple tight with no rust, pages are OW/W, slight dust shadow on the upper back, line in the center of back cover spine is just that - a line (possible pen), not a tear.  I'll post the actual grade tomorrow at about this time.

One of my favorite CA covers. I’ll guess 7.5.

Looks great no matter what the grade is though.

Not enough contrast to really see the fine details to enough of an extent than to offer a ballpark guess. Anything within the 7.0 to 8.0 area seems plausible, dependent on if it received enough of a GA bump to mollify the aggressive back cover heat stripe. On these scans, I don't see much other than that wrong with it, unless that's a crease or worse, a tear on the back cover about midway down (or up) from the spine inward. If a crease, closer to 7.0, and if a tear, then 5.5 or 6.0 area.
