First Look At Redesigned DC SUPER HERO GIRLS For Cartoon Network's New Animated Series

Warner Bros. Animation's DC Super Hero Girls may be based on characters from the DC universe and an already-established franchise, but when the animated action-comedy series debuts on Cartoon Network, our favorite heroes will receive a bit of a makeover.

Warner Bros. Animation unveiled today our first look at DC Super Hero Girls, which is said to feature "fresh character designs and storytelling" from Emmy Award-winning producer Lauren Faust (Super Best Friends Forever, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends).

 

 

Prior to becoming a series on Cartoon Network, DC Super Hero Girls existed as a franchise of direct-to-video movies and webisodes aimed that building character and confidence and empowering girls to discover their true potential. The show takes DC's powerful and diverse lineup of female characters and turns them into relatable teenagers that must deal with the struggles of everyday life in addition to saving the world.
