Is that a tear to the front cover along the bottom edge? (through Jameson and This) And what's going on at the ULFC?

Your colors need to be adjusted, and the brightness is too high, both of which tend to mask defects.

Also a crease BC lower outer corner...7.0/7.5 depending on what flaws are actually on the book

Okay, let me go a little further to back up my guess.

Cons:

1 Tiny chip upper spine

2 8-10 tiny spine nicks

3 Back cover upper edge, small bend

Book has nice corners, good colors, nothing really excessive.

Bottom line, is how CGC will finalize a grade for this book.

As the contest has proven many times over, our grades differ from CGCs grades most of the time.

How severe is the rubbing on the spine?

Are there tears bottom edge front cover?

What is the spot on Spider-man's right arm?

8.0 VF. Probably not higher than an 8.5 VF+ because of the large crease lower left back cover.

Thanks.

Dan

Spine wear is not too bad, no tears on the bottom front edge just alittle wear, the spot on the arm seems to have been caused maybe by a tape pull or contact with something that caused that area to peel off confused-smiley-013.gif.

This and the pull on the arm sums up the major defects. I was thinking a 6.5/7.0 but I tend to be strict. Thanks again.

7.0

There is a very, very slight crease on botton left corner, back cover. You know a book with such crease is immediatly downgraded into 8.5 no matter how perfect they are... mad.giftongue.gif

Get it pressed and it's 7.5 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Too bad that is a tape pull. Probably where everyone else says 7.0 FN/VF. Looks nicer though.
