Comic Book Dealer Dies - What Typically Happens to the Books?

I think in most cases, most collectors know at least one other friend or local shop owner near them that they could trust to move their books.  Just arrange it ahead of time, even if informally.  At worst the person can package up all the keys and send them all to an auction house, and then blow out the rest on craigslist cheap, and make sure the family gets what they're owed.

If in your life you haven't built one trustworthy relationship with ONE other comic person in your area AND you have a ton of great comics, that's on YOU.
