Charles S.
Hello everyone, I was wondering if a few nice folks can give me some feedback on this book. I picked up an Uncanny X-Men #164(Carol Danvers-Binary)a while back. I was thinking about getting it graded. Everything looks pretty good at first sight but on the back lower left hand corner there's a crease. How much will this affect the grade? The spine looks good to me. I dont see any spinewear. And should I get it pressed? Or would it even matter at this point? Feedback is welcome. Thanks!
marvelmaniac
I see minor corner blunting and very slight staple tears present so IMO this book would be a VF 8.0. (VF+ 8.5???) I am not that familiar with CGC grading so I do not know what kind of hit the book would take with the crease on the rear cover. If it were my book and I was grading it and cataloging the book for myself I would grade it as a FN/VF 7.0 with a notation stating the book would be a VF 8.0 except for the crease on the rear cover. Dino-Mutt
7.0-7.5 here, i can't see an 8 with that crease, but still a nice book!
