My first eBay purchase in months. I had already set my snipe - less than 50% of guide(!) - when I committed to buy Silver's VG copy, so now I have a nice copy and a reader. :acclaim:

Very different from Marvels. I wonder what the reason is......

 

 

Who actually did the coloring. I heard it was a gang of little old ladies. Seriously.

 

Someone out there must know.

 

DC was definitely into primary colors. Marvel loved grey.

BTW I like the idea about the Sid's Luncheonette thread. (I'll be having a few Sid's copies here in the next 2 months or so, you know) :gossip:

 

I would like to be able to contribute something besides "nice book" or "gee, I wish I could find a GR FF for my collection, but the one I had my eye on got overbidded on by about $2900 (so far)" :grin:
