Another puzzler from a bygone era - for some reason 50-60 years ago, lots of collectors taped corners and spines not to fix tears but as a preventive measure against wear.  SMH.  This fellow went so far as to add some identifying information to the tape on the spine.  The interior of this book is beautiful but the voluminous tape brings it all crashing down.  A phenomenal reader though.
