Cover falls short..would it receive a hit to grade?

Thanks for your reply. Its currently in a competitors slab at a 9.8 and I was trying to figure out my chances at a CGC 9.8. I really like the copy and its been a hard one for me to find in nice shape.

As Bob mentioned we'd need to see the entire cover but I've had one ASM 300 and two ASM 361 recently come back from cgc with a 9.8 and both had the same thing.  I believe they consider them manufacturing defects.  

Common on AS 300, as is the deckled (scalloped or serrated) right cover edge.
