Yes 1/4 inch tear bottom cover.

Wow, very awesome book!  I'd say 6.0 ish (due to stains at top edge of bc, little tears, staple wear (and what looks like it might be a little chip out of mid spine center on bc?)  Looks to be a little moisture rippling?  Amazing colors...love it!
