N e r V
Before fireworks tonight at the Big Bay Boom here in San Diego I thought I’d kill some time with a top 5 Creepy covers thread because that’s the thing we magazine collectors do on the 4th of July. So here’s mine in order 1 thru 5. No surprise 4 out of 5 are Frazetta but certainly not everyone’s cup of tea so post your own top 5! I bet a few that I was torn on make it in to someone else’s list too... The Lions Den and SAKI

oakman29
Creepy #63 has a story called Jenifer that is awesome. I'm digging the Spanish Creepy books. SAKI and The Lions Den
SAKI
Oakman29: Yes, Jenifer is a classic! I love the tandem Bruce Jones/Wrightson. I completed the Spanish creepy collection -80 issues- when I was a high school student in Spain...So many memories!. Now I am trying to complete the American edition (More challenging for sure 😁)

N e r V
Here’s the attempt at color from Pacific Comics in the 1980s and the live action version from Showtime. It was one of the more memorable stories by Warren that I remember growing up.... Stevemmg and SAKI
Artboy99
On 7/5/2019 at 11:33 AM, N e r V said: great story! Does remind me of the singing and dancing frog from the old Loonie Toons cartoons that only sang when the owner was present but never sang when the owner tried to use the frog for profit and pay to put on shows. All the frog does to the owners is financially ruin them. The frog passes to different owners. Similar idea but "Jenifer" definitely has a more macabre twist.
