Are those all yours?? That is quite a collection you have. What are your prices that you think they are worth individually. How did you acquire all those? That is some serious moolah. hail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gifhail.gif

I have seen some covers you don't have. I think the # 238 first Hobgoblin is owned by a collector in California and there is a collector in Europe I believe that has the Amazing Spiderman # 298, and #299 the very first two Mcfarlane Spidermans. Also I understand that Spiderman # 8 cover is available for sale for $300,000. And Spiderman # 11 traded hands in 1995 for something like $175,000 if my information is correct.

Nice collection of scans! I'm not sure all of those are originals though. The ASM 28 looks like a recreation to me.

Nope. Ive seen the ASM # 28. That is EXACTLY what it looks like. Trimmed to the EDGE.

Id kinda like to make this thread an ASM OA Cover price guide - - - with accurate data. Hence, if anyone has details of what some of these piece sold for. Id be happy to 'edit' and enter the sale price, date of sale, and forum (Heritage, All-Star, or private transaction).

So,...give me info. and Ill be happy to update the thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I doubt you'll get people willing to state the prices they've paid for their art. It's oftentimes a very personal piece of information. Plus, prices are quite volatile, and can't be tracked in the same way as comics.

Is this a fault of the comic mentality? I doubt there's been a Picasso sold in the last 50 years that you couldn't track the price of. Why should the OA field be different? Genuine interest here.
