Here's a sketch done for me by Simon Williams, who lives in the UK and works for Marvel UK. I "met" him on a comic message board when he announced that he would be able to live on of his dreams and draw the Hulk. He'd been working on the Transformers comics and a Spider-Man title, and the 100th issue of Spider-Man was slated to guest star (one guess) the Hulk, along with the Avengers and the FF. A bunch of us congratulated him, and I PM'ed him and asked him if it would be possible for him to send me a copy of the comic and include a sketch if possible (I offered to pay for everything, but he refused).

I've got the sketch up in my cube at work, and a lot of people have commented on it. He's been very busy since then, but this week mailed me a Hulk vs. Thing sketch (his favorite hero/hero fight, and mine, too) along with some other comics he's worked on, and posters made from some of his covers (it's coming from the UK, so it will be a while before I get it). I look forward to getting it.

Steve Rude did this one for me at the Phoenix "Con"... Still my favorite sketch. I think he caught the great 40's style with this sketch. I've seen other Mary Marvels he's done and none of them are like this one. Looks great on my wall too thumbsup2.gif

A nice Dark Phoenix by Jeffrey Moy

Finally decided I needed a Batman pic... Kudos to Sergio Cariello for this one

And a final one... From indy artist Steve Bryant we have Athena Voltaire. It's an online comic. I love the way he draws his women.

I have three sketches that I have gotten framed. The pictures are not the best, but they are the best that I have since I don't own a scanner and they are already framed. So here they are and I hope this works: laugh.gif

The Silver Surfer was done by Ron Lim in pencil while the Boba Fett was done by Dave Dorman in ink, at San Diego 2004. I had my dad get them for me, since he was working security for the con and then he mailed them to me back east. The last picture is from Mike Chen and Mike Leeke who drew the Macross Saga for Comico that I picked up back in 1990.

I also have a sketch book that I take with me to the con's and get small drawings or autographs.
