Hi, folks:

All of the above CGC Romita Signature Series books are ending tonight, with the majority less than 50% of fair market value so somebody's going to get a great deal, and it might as well be you!

Romita currently charges $75 per signature, and there's the postage, facilitator and witness fees on top of that, so call it an even $100 to get a Romita Signature these days. Roy Thomas charges $25 and Gerry Conway charges $20.  Calculate postage, facilitator and witness fees for them, and you get a cost of approximately $175 for a CGC Sig Series book signed by Romita, Thomas, and Conway.

Having said that, here's the current prices on the following books:

• The Amazing Spider-Man #50 Signature Series: John Romita (Marvel, 1967) CGC VG+ 4.5 = $360.  This is a steal at this price!
• The Amazing Spider-Man #77 Signature Series: John Romita (Marvel, 1969) CGC VF+ 8.5 = $110, which is only slightly more than the cost of getting Romita's Signature
• The Amazing Spider-Man #93 Signature Series: John Romita Sr. (Marvel, 1971) CGC FN+ 6.5 White pages = $72, which is a very good deal
• The Amazing Spider-Man #100 Signature Series: John Romita (Marvel, 1971) CGC VF 8.0 White pages = $210.  Steal it at this price!!!
• The Amazing Spider-Man #119 Signature Series: John Romita, Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway (Marvel, 1973) CGC VF 8.0 White pages = $130, which is less than the cost of getting the signatures!
• The Amazing Spider-Man #120 Signed by John Romita, Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway (Marvel, 1973) CGC VF/NM 9.0 = $130, which is way below fair market value and one heck of a great deal
• The Amazing Spider-Man #135 Signature Series: John Romita, Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway (Marvel, 1974) CGC NM- 9.2 = $350.  This book has been undervalued for so long that its finally seen a strong uptick over the past several months
• The Amazing Spider-Man #154 Signature Series: John Romita (Marvel, 1976) CGC VF/NM 9.0 = $72, which is still less than the cost of getting Romita to sign it!
• The Amazing Spider-Man #238 Signature Series: John Romita Sr., John Romita Jr., and Virgina Romita (Marvel, 1983) CGC VF+ 8.5 = $155, which is the cost of obtaining the three signatures.  Basically, you're getting the book for free at this price
• The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #6 Signature Series: John Romita (Marvel, 1969) CGC VF- 7.5 = $105, the cost of obtaining Romita's signature.  Basically, you're getting the book for free at this price!
• The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #8 Signature Series: John Romita (Marvel, 1971) CGC VF 8.0 = $105, which is the cost of obtaining Romita's signature.  Basically, you're getting the book for free at this price!

Given the cost, time, and effort to obtain these signatures, I think you would want to do yourself a huge favor by bidding to win some of these auctions.  If you don't, I think you will regret letting this opportunity pass you by.
