It looks like some small holes were filled on the spine near the back cover (see photo)

Clear tape (archival?) in four places along spine on interior. Cover held on by two pieces of tape attached to first page.

Mike Lancer, 1st and only appearance, a two-fisted private eye prototype for Mike Hammer by Mickey Spillane, who manages to kill at least 3 people in six pages while "solving" a case.
