It's Batman Week! When I decided to have an auction focused entirely on our favorite Dark Knight this week, I had no idea that September 19th is BATMAN DAY. I completely forgot! How very auspicious.

This week's auction, over at MyComicShop.com, has some real gems with the Caped Crusader, including: Batman #251 - Joker's Five Way Revenge; Batman: The Killing Joke; Death in the Family; The Dark Knight Returns #1 first print, the first League of Assassins, the second Man-Bat, and the first Punchline! Also included are some nice high-grade Bronze Age Detective Comics.

Friday update on the Batman Week auction. FYI, Batman Day changes slightly every year. Last year it was the 21st, but this year it is tomorrow, the 19th. Batman Day is always the third Saturday in September.

Leading, of course, in this BATMAN group is a very nice copy of Batman #251 - the Joker's Five-Way Revenge. The Killing Joke is in a respectable second, and third place is the first cameo appearance of Punchline in Batman #89.
