OK, a no-prize if anyone can find the image of a cover to Little Dot 6 (First Richie Cover), and not the original art on the Heritage database (which is pretty sweet by the way). I'm looking to buy that issue as well.

Is the 2nd Richie Rich Cover Harvey Hits 3? Or Little Dolly 3-D or another Little Dot listed on the comics Org database.

This one be a rarely seen. Was surprised one was on ebay this past week. Gerber gives it a 7 but this past SD Con was the first time I ever saw one. (I am gonna start posting my latest SD Con acquisitions in their proper slots as the slots come up.)

This is the thread I'm going to look at when I want to make some random purchases.

Posters beware if you are looking for these books.

Although,

I don't want to pay too much, so you're all pretty safe. lol

I've lost the sense of "rare" keys since going to SDCC '05. Seeing at least 7 Marvel #1's, 5 Action #1's, and Metropolis' impressive row of 6 Batman #1's makes rare seems irrelavant. Rare in an affordable range maybe, but if you have the money it's available if it's any kind of key. confused-smiley-013.gif

I think it is the high value of keys that make them so available. I'm guessing alot of people who buy these books end up feeling they have too much money tied up in a single book and once the thrill of aquisition has worn off figure they might as well sell them in order to free up the money for something else - even if it's another comic related purchase. So while a less expensive book may sit in a collection for decades, the keys get turned around much more frequently. Still, some are obviously way more common than others - Batman #1 being a prime example.
