John Romita Sr. and Mike Esposito Daredevil #105 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1973). Ol' Hornhead is surrounded by trouble, courtesy of Madame McEvil (aka Moondragon) and her "Terrible Trio" -- Ramrod, Angar the Screamer, and Dark Messiah. It's a tight spot for our favorite vision-impaired hero.

This is a book that has become a Bronze Age key due to its early appearance and origin story for the character of Moondragon, who first is called by that name in the issue. It's also her first cover appearance, which makes this a significant piece of Marvel Bronze Age history. Moondragon is one of those cool early Bronze Age female characters who, like Mantis, Tigra and Hellcat, eventually made her way into the ranks of both the Avengers, and later, the Defenders and Adam Warlock's Infinity Watch team.
