This is a part of Star Wars history and a piece of art that demonstrates the design and artistry that went into the creation of the look of the movie

 

Seminal Star Wars conceptual artist Ralph McQuarrie was responsible for much of the look and design of the original trilogy movies (including Vader, C-3PO, Tatooine etc.) He is credited with designing almost every aspect of Cloud City and also painted many of the backgrounds (including those of Cloud City) used in the first two films

 

Original artwork by McQuarrie is exceedingly rare and sought after by collectors.
