Back in the day when I would pick up books based on title and cover art and never really paying attention to who actually wrote or drew the thing I got my copy os SANDMAN MYSTERY THEATRE annual (even back then I was VERTIGO zombie). For those that don't know the issue was comprised of 1 story, but a different artist did each 2-3 page "chapter". anywhoo, When I got to the Alex Ross chapter I quit reading and just stared at the pages for a few minutes. AWESOME pages. And as I recall most of it was two guys talkng on a park bench. But they were THAT good! ! The guy has serious talent.

always been a fan of Alex Ross...just picked up the slipcase "world's greatest superheroes" but my fav is his version of the Original 7.

 

They look like cardboard cut-outs...again more stiff like group shots
