Hi everyone! I just restarted collecting a few months ago and went a bit crazy buying lots and collections and it just took off and I have now formed an official LLC in the state of Michigan, HotKey Comics LLC! To celebrate the launch of this I have put together several lots available for sale or trade, with trades more preferred, but cash is always accepted through PayPal goods and services at no additional charge (send payments through PayPal goods and services with what you are buying in the notes to hotkeycomics@gmail.com). Each post will list an issue or lot available with a cash value price. I will add new lots every month or so as available.

*** Listed below is also my "Trade it now/TIN" list with key issues I am looking for with minimum grades and trade values I will give for each. In those cases, posting along with the issue you are trading at the minimum grade or better counts just as a cash sale in the thread and timestamps are king. Feel free to combine multiple lots of mine to equal the trade value of what I want that you have. In most cases, multiple copies of key issues wanted will be accepted, just private message me first about any additional copies.***

Any other trade offers will be considered in the order received through private messages, and feel free to combine some of my lots for bigger trade offers. posts under the listed rules in this thread override any potential trades or deals in discussion in private messages. Any agreed deals in private messages must post in the thread referencing the private message deal to finalize the deal. In general, I would like to either reduce the total # of issues I wind up with in a trade or keep the number equal, I prefer to not trade 2 issues of mine for 5 issues, etc. Preference given to issues that need pressing and/or cleaning to potentially improve the grade. I can also add some cash if you have a comic I want but don't see quite enough from my comics to equal the value of yours. If you have a comic I want but think my value is too low, private message me. I tried to base everything off ebay sold items.

I know I am relatively new around here so I have discounted most of these a bit. I have had a store up on a site for a little over a month now and I can offer a screenshot of some of my feedback there to help show that I do take this seriously and do my best to protect anything I send. I am not including any links as I am not asking for traffic at that store, I am just offering the feedback for review. I also just had several lots end on ebay and those are all shipped except 2, I have good reviews there previously as well. No deals currently accepted from anyone on the banned or probation list, sorry. All prices include shipping with gemini mailers through USPS first class insured for sale value at my cost with full tracking details provided. If other shipping methods are wanted, please discuss them with me in private messages prior to posting to confirm details. For trades, I will also ship with gemini mailers through USPS first class insured for the trade value at my cost and ask that you do the same in return. I'll use multiple mailers if needed to mail everything safely, or a larger box with extra packaging for safety. If you prefer other methods please discuss them in private messages first before posting in the thread. All items will be shipped within 2 business days of payment for sales, or within 1 day of agreed upon shipping date for trades. (Send private message after posting any for trades and let me know when you can ship on your end, in almost every case I will agree to ship the same day barring any previous engagements on my end.)

Returns are not accepted for buyers remorse, however, if a lot is clearly different from what I listed due to an error on my end then just contact me and we can discuss the issue to resolve it. I'm a fair person.

GRADING: I freely admit I am still very new to grading and learning how to do it accurately along with the CGC Grading Scale. As such, I am trying to round down on all my estimated grades and not grading anything above a 9.0 until I learn more. (I've almost got my first lot ready to send in to see how accurate my estimations are above 9.0) Please DO NOT take this to think ANY lot is a 9.2+ or anything else, please do not expect anything above a 9.0. If I have made any obvious errors in my estimated grades, please quote the comic and note the error and I will make the correction. I am open to all constructive criticism and notes on my grading. Also please let me know your estimated grade on any deals once you receive them so I can compare to my notes and get better. Thanks! All comics are stored, opened and packaged in a smoke free and pet free room and it is a tobacco free home with 2 short haired dogs. (I will have a scanner soon, sorry for pic quality until then)

REWARD POINTS:

I am very happy to announce a key feature (pun intended) of HotKey Comics: reward points! This is a feature I think you all will like, since it's free comics for you! It is a simple premise that has been widely used: for every dollar you spend with me in this thread (or other means on these forums), you get 1 reward point. You can spend your reward points for any of the comics listed below. Reward point redemptions of under 1,000 points can only be added onto any new sale, redemptions over 1,000 points can be redeemed at any time, all with free shipping. All previous sales in this thread have reward points for their purchases. Once you spend reward points, they are gone. No returns on any redemptions. Trades give 10% of the trade value that you are sending in reward points, rounded up. Any fractional or partial reward point will always be rounded up in your favor. Reward points do not expire. Reward points are bound to your forum name and paypal account and cannot be transferred, bartered, traded, sold, given away, or otherwise change ownership by any other means. No grades are estimated for reward point redemptions and no certain grade should be expected, but additional pictures can be provided upon request.

Star Wars: The High Republic #1 lot. This includes 3 copies of the main cover, 3 copies of the regular variant cover, 1 copy of the 1:10 cover, 1 copy of the Yoda variant cover, and 1 copy of the 1:25 Sway variant cover. All copies are 9.0 except Sway I would put at 8.5 due to the manufacturing defect in the front top left corner, as pictured. Estimated Ebay value: $220. List value: $190 shipped

Edge of Spider Verse #2: Comic Bug exclusive black and white variant by Siya Oum. This is a very nice copy and I cannot find any problems with the front but there is a small crease on the back top left cover and a staple rub? on the bottom staple area. Estimated Grade: 8.5 due to back cover. Estimated Ebay value: This is a hard one as there are not many sales of this variant recently but the other versions of #2 seems to be on a marked increase and the more readily available color version of this is selling well. The best I can find on Ebay for this version is a  BIN for 289, so I'm using that as a basis. List price: $240 shipped
