Hey all, I'm new around here, and this is my first comic that I am planning on sending in to get graded. Just wanted some opinions from people more knowledgeable than myself.

I can see a few issues:

- Small tear along bottom (on Carnage's leg)

- Small tear below corner box (bottom left)

- Bottom staple.

- Bumps on the bottom of the first page

I've read that the two small tears may be a manufacturing defect? Is this sort of thing excluded when being graded, or does it still affect the overall grade?

Apologies for the not so great photos. I'm not currently home for a few days, so this is all I have right now. But I can update then, if needed.

Thanks

As you suspected the tears in the FC and bumps on the pages are production defects.  (Bindery perforations)  I have seen ASM 361 grade at 9.8 with and without the defect.   However, the color rub, (gouge, scratch, staple stress) by the lower staple may keep this book out of 9.8 territory.  Can you post photos of the BC?

Example of a 9.8 with the same defect...
