CGC submission pre-pay 0

So I have a general noob question regarding CGC submission of books. I am in the process of uploading my comic book data for a 9 book submission. After I put all the info in and selected who I wanted to ship it with (UPS), it said the total is $270. Do I have to pay this upfront or am I just paying for the $40 shipping charge? My understanding is that You submit the books and then pay once graded but want to make sure before I hit that submit button. TIA

My card was charged upon receipt and entry of my books into the system at Sarasota.  Back in November, I filled out an online form.  The books weren't entered into CGC until December which is when I was charged.  Hope that helps.
