Wooby
Had this thing since I was 13. Front and interior are immaculate. Apparently I sat it down on a less than forgivable surface a time or two, and despite the thick card stock cover (which ironically makes it more susceptible to this type of damage) it endured a few scratches and dents. How big a hit do you all think I would take if I sent it in? Galen130
CHASEnBLUE
Can't give an entire grade estimation without FC photos, but with the scratches/breaks in color you might be in the FN/VF range. A press will take care of the dents.
Wooby
Thanks. Also, . Here's the front, anyway. Not as perfect as I thought.

Galen130
Looks like the comic gremlins sabotaged it...7.5 at best.

Thank you for adding this, which does not change my initial estimate. The color break on front comes into play but still at the 7.0/7.5 (like others stated so far too). Dern Gremlins! 7.5 VERY FINE– (VF–): Fits the criteria for Very Fine but with an additional defect or small accumulation of defects that detracts from the book’s appearance by a perceptible amount. 7.0 FINE/VERY FINE (FN/VF): An above-average copy that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with outstanding eye appeal. A small accumulation of minor bindery/printing defects is allowed. Minor cover wear beginning to show, with interior yellowing or tanning allowed, possibly including minor creases. Corners may be blunted or abraded. Inks are generally bright with a moderate reduction in reflectivity. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. No obvious soiling, staining or other discoloration except for minor foxing. The slightest spine roll may be present, as well as a possible moderate color break.
